FreedomSystem.org exists because too many Veterans return home believing they have to carry everything alone. We know that feeling because we've lived it. Our mission isn't simply to provide programs—it's to create lasting camaraderie that reminds every Veteran they still belong.
WHY WE EXIST
THE UNIFORM COMES OFF.
THE MISSION DOES NOT.
Transition can feel like a freefall, no structure, your brothers and sisters are no longer with you day in and day out, the purpose that you felt daily suddenly disappears.
Too many Veterans find themselves in uncomfortable silence, carrying weight that they do not have to live with alone, feeling misunderstood, and wondering where they fit.
We get it. We have been there.
FreedomSystem.org exists to rebuild that sense of belonging. To replace resolution with connection and camaraderie. To trade in struggle to strength. We exist to remind Veterans that the mission is NOT over. The mission has just changed.

HOW FSO BEGAN
WE ARE READY.
FreedomSystem.org was not createed in a boardroom. It started with tragedy. It started with deaths... not just one death, but twenty-two.
22 deaths a day.
FreedomSystem.org as a nonprofit started in 2015. The original website started in 2007.
WE BELIEVE CAMARADERIE SAVES LIVES.
FreedomSystem.org Website Created
Created to be a war documentation site, but because of OPSec this idea was crushed.
Tragedy Strikes Kenny Holmes
One of Kenny's best friends from high school, that was a US Marine, suicides, after calling Kenny at 2300.
Military Veteran Stand Down with a Heart
Kenny Holmes was asked to be involved set this up. Kenny created the graphics and reconnected with Jeff Schrock.
Non-profit Status Achieved
FreedomSystem.org becomes an officially recognized NPO and continues it's mission to fight Veteran Suicide and military transitions.
The Mission Continues
FreedomSystem.org offers its very first benefit dinner; setting the stage for our yearly Remember event.
Covid Threatens
FreedomSystem.org expirences it's biggest setback to date: COVID. Forced to cancel our second benefit event; donors STILL donated!
FreedomSystem.org Offers its First Program
Before biking... Before podcasting... Project: Veteran Relief, the Martial Arts program given to Veterans for free was started.
Programs
We have a surge in progress and continue to build and grow our programs becoming very successful and helping people voncerge on what we are doing!
Common Veterans
The Common Veterans is started and immediately a hit with the FreedomSystem.org Board and adopt it. Still going strong!

WHAT WE DO
Meet Kenny Holmes
There are moments in life that divide everything into before and after.
For Kenny Holmes, that moment came when one of his closest friends—a fellow Veteran and one of the people he loved most—reached out for help.
Kenny missed the call.
His friend died by suicide.
That moment changed everything.
That everything almost detroyed Kenny. Kenny promised to whomever that would listen that he wouldn't let that happen to his friends again. That promise became FreedomSystem.org
Every ride, every conversation, every podcast episode, every peer-support meeting, every event, and every program exists to rebuild the camaraderie, purpose, and belonging that military service once provided.
Today, the mission remains unchanged: to make sure more Veterans have someone to call, someone to ride with, someone to talk to, and somewhere they belong.
