New Opportunities!
A brand-new opportunity is coming this August for children of military families to build character, confidence, and leadership through adventure! Five Star Life is launching the first-ever Camp Respect, a free overnight camp created specifically for children of active-duty and former military service members.
Taking place July 29 - August 1st at Summit in Union, Michigan, Camp Respect welcomes students entering 3rd grade and older for two days focused on personal growth, teamwork, and leadership in a fun outdoor environment.
As this inaugural event kicks off, campers will participate in activities designed to strengthen:
- Adventure
- Leadership
- Character
- Community
Military families often face unique challenges, including frequent moves, deployments, and long periods of separation. Events like Camp Respect provide children with a supportive environment where they can connect with others who share similar experiences, develop leadership skills, and create lasting memories while building confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships.
Programs like Camp Respect provide more than just a weekend away—they offer military-connected youth the opportunity to meet others with similar experiences, build lasting friendships, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
At FreedomSystem.org, we believe that strengthening Veteran families strengthens our entire community. Who Can Attend?
