Flag Ceremony

Flag Ceremony planned for Friday, Nov.10; Elkhart High School’s JROTC and musicians will participate.
WHAT & WHEN: To honor veterans of the armed forces, on Nov. 10, the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center of Northern Indiana, Inc., with the Junior ROTC of Elkhart High School will hold a flag-raising ceremony featuring Elkhart High School Musicians starting at noon. The Indiana Patriot Guard Riders will post multiple United States Flags along the roadside for the event.
WHERE: The ceremony will be held at the outdoor flagpole in front of the Elkhart OSMC location of the orthopedic practice, 2310 California Road, Elkhart, Next door to Elkhart High School.
In a tribute to veterans, OSMC team members, along with students and teachers in the Elkhart High School Choir, Band, and Junior ROTC, will participate in a flag-raising ceremony. A few words of recognition and appreciation will be said. The national anthem of the United States, “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Francis Scott Key, will be sung, the pledge of allegiance recited, taps will be played, and veterans recognized.
The entire community of Elkhart and St. Joseph counties are invited. Veterans are especially encouraged to join us!
