My right to speak is your right to listen, or not listen. My rights to listen are the same as your rights to speak. When I refer to speaking I am also peaking of my freedom to write. If I want to tell you what I believe and why I believe it then that is my prerogative.
In the last few days I have been told that my beliefs are wrong – no matter what I say – My beliefs are wrong. Did you know that you were wrong, no matter what you said? I will admit; however, that I was probably being the same way that they were with the belief system is wrong. Yet, I devote my life to truth, and I want to share it to you.
So this is me sharing the Truth with you.
Rather you believe it or not the Truth will set you free! And I am going to tell you the truth about me, a low, degenerate sinner.
I believe that I am a sinner, and I believe that wages of sin are death, but through Christ Jesus our Lord we are able to go to Heaven. Sin is like a black plague upon society. Sin is like a shard of glass stuck in your eye and it makes it look like that you are not going to get it out of your eye, but then it gets comfortable to be there because it just feels right. People get comfortable in their sin; I know that I do. How do we get out of the comfort zone of sin? How do we compare our self to that who was absolutely perfect? First and foremost, we don’t. We are not capable of being sin free, but at the same time we are: ASK for forgiveness and we are washed free. We ask that God will wash us free of sins and that He will forgive us.
What if we refuse to ask for forgiveness for sins of the flesh? Well here is an easy answer from the Man himself (Jesus)
Matthew 7:21-23:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
I guess that sums it up. I don’t know where to go from here, and I do know that I am very truly sorry to those that cannot understand the position that I am in, especially since some of you claim to be scholarly on the source of the Bible. Me, I find that if you dig into the Book and really realize what it is all about then you need to keep your head like the mind of a 4 year old. If I need help with a part of the Bible I ask my 4 year old son and he tells me what it means. You can’t dig into the Word because you will hypothesize yourself right out of the true meaning. When we are told to look at the world through the eyes of a child that is how it works. Remember that we are all on borrowed time and God has done everything for us, and gave us the greatest gift of all – Free Will. Which He will let us choose which way we want to be sinful or forgiven.
