I am a wedding photographer,  among other things, but one of the things that I love seeing is LOVE.  I love seeing that there is passion between two people, a man and a woman, and that they love one another.  As I edit photos – part of the reason for my hiatus from here on FreedomSystem.org – I am reminded that we are all to love one another as Christ as loved us.

But certain travesties have been happening in the world lately, and it makes it very difficult to love, or even to try to love.  I read the Bible, and I try to do as Jesus taught, and to read it as a child would.  I try to not look into things.  I look at the world as I know it, and I think to myself, ‘Holy crap. What are we doing to ourselves.’  Ebola in America, we have known for years that there was always a virus out there that could do Zombie like damage to the nations.  Yet we did nothing about it; we let it fester.  Homosexual marriage, is upon us – whereas, I don’t care what they do in their personal life, but as soon as it purveys itself into my belief system, that is when I care.  It is wrong, by all accounts, and you know what happens next: as Casey Hendrickson stated on his show last week, “They will go after our churches to make them do something that they don’t want to do.”  That is why we cannot set back idly any more with the country at stake.  No.  The world at stake!

If you follow history, and this is a blog, so I am not stating an references, you can see that the downfall of any great empire has always started with immorality.  Things that God considers to be an abomination, travesties, or detestable.  There are several things out there that God sees as this.  And I am just as guilty as the next man, or woman.  The United States is built upon Judeo-Christian values, and even though the Treaty of Tripoli, which was unconstitutional, we are a Christian nation.  WE are just afraid to hurt someone’s feelings or break their belief system.  What would our Veterans of WWI and WWII say about what this country is turning into?  I say they would probably be disgraced.

This is my challenge, and I too will do this as my dedication to Christ is who I am.  I challenge everyone to show one another love.  Teach others the will of Christ and make it known that even if you are doing wrong in the eyes of the Lord, there is someone there that will leave you Peace, as long as you repent.  Remember we all fall short of the glory of God.  And life is the only way we can teach each other how to handle difficult situations.  Our lives may be unfulfilled, but He will make our cups run over with the Peace and Understanding of liberty in the United States.

Oh yeah, don’t forget to thank a veteran, too!
