So I am going to start this off with a congratulation. Congratulations to those that support taking what God has given us and turning it to meaningless sex.
No seriously: Congratulations on turning our state into the start of a Godless state. Thank you for the beginning of the downfall. God is taking his hand off of this country and it is more and more being taken from our grasps. Wicked is taking something God gave to be pure and making it meaningless.
“We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine.” 1 Timothy 1:9-1
I am not certain, but that sounds pretty demoralizing when you read it, and it is kept in context, there is no way to argue with what has been put in the Bible.
Whereas; I am not a proponent of any marriage being legislated, I am against homosexuality because I know what happens next. And if you follow history… you too will see the damage that happens after homosexuality becomes acceptable. Furthermore, Jesus does address marriage being only legislated to man and woman. We see this in Matthew 19:1-9:
“When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, ‘Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?’ ‘Haven’t you read,’ he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.’ ‘Why then,’ they asked, ‘did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?’ Jesus replied, ‘Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.’”
I included the whole section – which even the publishers of the Bible decree this section as the Divorce section, but let’s put this into perspective: Jesus was very clear that marriage is to be between a man and a woman; otherwise, it is a sin. As well as saying that divorce is a sin as well; yet, that is another post that I may or may not write about later.
So again I say congratulations [dripping sarcasm]. Congratulations state of Indiana for going against the will of the Lord. This is why I am calling for the United States to get out of the marriage business altogether. I am calling for the United States to completely stop with trying to legislate a religious event. Take the money and incentivizing of a Holy Sacrament just to make money on it.
Short history lesson: American wedding licenses were a means to keep blacks and whites from marrying. [End lesson] So this was a travesty – why haven’t we ended this yet – blacks and whites can marry now and it is now common practice. Why can’t we get the government out of it? Why, because once the government gets its money hooks on something it won’t ever let it go.
WE SHOULD ALWAYS FOLLOW GOD OVER MAN
God has given us free will making us choose between right and wrong. God was very specific in laying out laws that we are to follow. And I have an answer for: “Give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s” because later Paul tells us in Acts 5:29 “Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!” Which on the forefront looks like it is very contradictory, but it isn’t. Jesus said give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar which was what was talking about anything with Caesar’s likeness on it (i.e- money/taxes).
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” – 1 Corinthians 6:12-20
I normally don’t write an in conclusion paragraph, but this time I think it is pertinent. In conclusion: CONGRATS Indiana you are going against the Word of God! Thank you for pulling me down along with the other nineteen states. I hope that through the rest of the appeals that will most definitely go through to the Supreme Court that we can find God and maybe He will put His hand back on our nation. I am not going to hold my breath.
