Cookouts and Bikes

New bike day, having cookouts on long summer days and hot summer nights, a day in the woods, swashbuckling through the trails, and hanging out with friends is the best anyone could ask for! This is what dreams are made of and this is where we excel. Driving these days work for us and for them is never a dull moment or challenge, just pure bliss. We work hard all week to enjoy times like these on the weekend and we love it!

Our first ever cookout was a resounding success and we fed many people, we are looking forward to doing it again, and this time we hope to be bigger and better, always moving forward is the mission, and we do choose to accept it!

New Bike Day!

Of course, during our mountain bike ride cookout, we made it even more special by celebrating New Bike Day! It’s something all of us riders truly appreciate. On that remarkable day, we had not one, but two brand new Trek Marlins to give away. The deserving recipients were Brock, a Navy Veteran, and Adam, a Marine Veteran. It was undeniably one of the best days in the history of the FSO Mountain Bike Association! We are thrilled to provide these deserving Veterans with bikes so they can join us in our camaraderie programs, and we’re excited for more opportunities like this in the future!

The road of the bike is always the trail less traveled. We are on our way to becoming an even better ride group and look forward to all of our new rides – our next ride is on August 5th, 2023 at 9am in Bonneyville Mill mountain bike course!

The combination of cookouts and bikes creates a perfect recipe for joy, camaraderie, and exploration. We treasure the moments spent riding through trails, enjoying the company of friends, and savoring delicious food at our cookouts. It was a moment of great joy for us to gift two deserving Veterans with brand new bikes, fostering unity and providing them with opportunities to join us on future rides.

As we continue our journey together, we eagerly look forward to upcoming adventures and the memories we’ll create along the less-traveled trails. Join us on August 5th, 2023, at 9 am in Bonneyville Mill mountain bike course for our next exhilarating ride (note* there will be no cookout on this ride). Let’s keep pushing forward, embracing every moment, and making the most of this extraordinary experience.

Slainte!
