The business meeting was held at Weiland Designs, E Madison St, Goshen, Ind. The meeting started at 3 PM and the meeting was opened in due form by President K Holmes.
President K Holmes gave the opening (and closing) prayer.

- Roll call of Officers: Completed by Secretary Jeff Schrock.
- Reading of Membership Applications: No Report(s)
- Reading of the minutes: Secretary J Schrock read (emailed) the minutes from the last meeting, and asked if there were any corrections or amendments. BoD M Kauffman made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Media Coord L Zeugner seconded the motion and the motion passed.
- Treasurers Report: H/R Dir J Schrock made a motion to suspend the reading of the Treasurer’s Report. E Dir S Holmes seconded the motion, and the motion passed.
- Bills: President K Holmes reported all the bills are currently paid. However, a motion was needed to pay said bills. H/R Dir J Schrock made a motion to pay the bills. E Dir S Holmes seconded the motion, and the motion passed.

- New Business: 1) President K Holmes scheduled a meeting with Kevin Deary this coming Monday. It will be at 4 p.m. at the Elkhart County Community Foundation building in Elkhart. If possible, it would be nice to have all the BoD there, however, he, E Dir S Holmes, and H/R Dir J Schrock plan to attend. 2) IT Dir T Buoscio addressed the BoD with the planned IT training session. He started with having all the BoD download and install MS Office 365 (if needed). 3) A review of Email access and refresher training was then accomplished. 4) Use (or not using) the Authentication App on a cell was discussed. It was later used by those who had it to download and install Teams. When downloading, choose the Work-School option. 5) Use, entry or amending Office 365 Calendar was heavily discussed. We have not been utilizing it to its fullest and we should. Meetings, mountain bike rides, etc. 6) Adding civilian email addresses to the Office 365 was done, thus you can check all your emails from signing into one (1) account. 7) The option of downloading and using “lastpass” was discussed. Downloading the app to your cell and then entering all your logins and passwords. Once done, when you sign into an account you can pull up lastpass and copy/cut and paste from there into your browser. 8) Share Point was discussed as a website and how it could help the Bod. 9) President K Holmes addressed the floor and asked about an email he had sent out. It was regarding underwriting for the next fundraising dinner (in 2024). Specifically, topics like venue, food, speaker, marketing, etc. He wanted to address what was sent to whom. He wanted to not be too general in nature. E Dir S Holmes said she was already on top of this.
Good of the Order: E Dir S Holmes asked about the Team’s document. It seems that this document didn’t find its way to the entire BoD. Secretary J Schrock offered his copy. He added that he would amend the current version and re-send it to the BoD.
Next Meeting: Sunday, September 17th, at 2 PM, at the Holmes’s house.
President K Holmes asked if there was any further business. Seeing none, H/R Dir J Schrock made a motion to adjourn the meeting and M Kauffman seconded the motion. The motion passed.
